Yeah what poker coach said. If you want to be good at Sit and Go or any tournament poker Harrington on Holdem (Vol 1-3) are simply a must read.

There is many good books out there. Take a look at thoses: P. HELLMUTH books, D.HARRINGTON books, P.GORDON books (the little blue and green), D.SKLANSKY books (theory of poker) B. GREENSTEIN (ace on the river) J.CHAN(limit cash games) and of course D.BRUNSON books ( super system2).
For the S&G, and for any first step for online poker read S.FISCHMAN( online Ace)

    Take care

the best tournament books i have ever read are without a doubt Harrington on Holdem Volumes 1, 2, 3. They not only teach you how to play no limit holdem, but explain how you should change your strategy throughout the tournaments based on your chipcount, the blinds, the antes, how many people get paid, etc.

These books will help a lot

Doyle Brunson's Super System will teach you just about everything you need to know about strategy, and Mike Caro's Book of Poker Tells will tell you everything you need to know about reading your opponents. I'd stay away from Helmuth's books, I've read one of them and all he does is talk about himself. If you've heard him say, "I'm the greatest hold'em player in history" you've heard everything he'll tell you in his books. Tom McEvoy and T.J. Cloutier's Championship series are also great teaching tools. But if you want the two big ones that will have the biggest impact on your game, go with Doyle and the Mad Genius.

If you are an advanced player then of course you have to have super system. I also like the 3 part series by Dan Harrington, they are good advanced books to read. I also enjoy anything from cario, and i have both of Phil Gordon's books (little green, and little blue book).
